It's been a long road but I am about done with my Barley Crusher. Probably 3000-3500 pounds of grain but dang it I have to stand over it with a big plastic spoon and keep poking it to keep the rollers turning.

I'm thinking monster mill cause after five or six years here I've yet to hear anything but praise from HBT owners.

My question and reason for posting is that I am wondering if I can re-use my Barley Crusher base and hopper with any MM products? Would they fit on the non pro MM3 or MM2?

Anybody know?

It depends on the length of the rollers as to whether it would be just "plug and play." Same with the hopper.

I have the 3-roller MM and it's a beast. Last mill I ever expect to buy. I motorized it too--there are good options to do that ranging from $200-300+.

Edited to add: I think I have the base from mine. I attached it to a cart so the base was not important. I'll have to look and see.

I can't lay my hands on my base for the MM3, but I put a short ruler inside and took a pic. See below.

I just bought a used motorized mill, it has 5" rollers, and the hopper on that wouldn't come close to fitting the MM3.

Thanks
I can see the BC has only 5" rollers so parts are not going to be easily compatible. MM has a pretty good deal on a kit with base and hopper probably just do that. Do you have the base model MM3 or the MM3 Pro?
