Hi there,

On my last beer production, when i was milling the malts the strong wind take the smallest particles away, this particles seems like a powder or a flour, does this powder contains sugars? or maybe this powder is a part of the skin of the grain.

enzymes, which are proteins....? that's what a vorlauf is for, trapping all that stuff in the bigger pieces during sparging.....
