Hey all,
My first kegging adventure. Picked up a 3 gallon keg kit + "Smashing pumpkin" extract kit from northern Brewer. Everything seemingly went fine with the brew and fermentation. Kegged 3 gal, bottled 2 gal. Carbonation was interesting. I sort of did a mixed method setting at 15psi for about 3 days. Shaking a few times a day, turned down to 11psi since then (4 days ago). I'm actually very pleased with the carb level for my first try. The first few pours were pretty good. Today I'm getting a strong metallic/aluminum flavor in the beer. So it's been in the keg maybe 7 days total. Curious if this is from the keg/gas? Is this common with kegged beer or is it more likely from the kit/extract?
It is a brand new keg and lines and I still did a big soak of everything in pbw and then star San before kegging.

I get this every now and then. I attribute it to carbonic acid from the CO2. Burst carbing seems to accentuate it. It usually fades after a short time.
