It was an awesome night! I also got to try a lot of rare Stone stuff.

2005 RIS - Sooo smooth. Never had a beer with that much age on it.
2008 RIS aged in Bourbon Barrels - Also very smooth. The vanilla notes were insane on this one.
2010 Belgo RIS - It was interesting, but not my favorite.
2010 RIS 10th Anniversary Blend - This one tasted pretty similar to the regular 2010 from what I could tell
San Diego Session Ale - This was actually really awesome, it was like a light beer for hop heads!
07.07.07 Aged in Red Wine Barrels - Pretty good stuff, but not really my cup of tea
12th Anniversary Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels - This was AWESOME!
14th Anniversary Ale Double Dry Hopped - Very good stuff. Loved the regular version, the double dry hop made it even more intense!
2006 Double Bastard aged in Brandy Barrels - This may have actually been my favorite beer all night. The Brandy complemented this beer so well!
21st Amendment Ale - This is where things start getting fuzzy! hahahaha These samples were 4.5oz each! I remember this tasting similar to Sublimely Self Righteous Ale
Smoked Porter with Vanilla Bean - I would drink those for dessert at every meal and put it over ice cream!
Smoked Porter with Chipotle - This one lingered at the back of your throat for a good while after you put it down. A friend enjoyed it a lot more than I did.

I'm really upset I didn't get to try any of the Old Guardian, but there were quite a few other things higher on my list, obviously, hahaha. They had 2004, 2006 aged in bourbon barrels, 2007, 2008 aged in wine barrels, 2010 and 2010 Belgo Barleywine.

Jealous!!! I believe that's the same face on his twitter account...is it always like that? :)

Ahh, Gregface.

I ran into him on a bus in Denver during GABF. Didnt get a chance to grab a photo or I would have..

Man that's awesome! I thought I was lucky when I got a vertical tasting of 06,07,08,09 Old Guardians.

That's cool! Got to chat with Greg a bit at Stone 14th and took a picture with him for charity! Also going to see him tonight at Naja's Place in Redondo beach for Stone's total tap takeover and to kick off LAbeerweek!
