Mead trial update

A bit back I tried several different flavors and thought I would give an update. This is a new batch with light honey and using yeast 47 vs 71. The blackberry is a new try (far left) did a strawberry again (Favorite of most) and trying the Lavender/Vanilla in 2 different qty's (far right has 1/3 cup-a bit longer storage time as it does get stronger, the one next to it has 1/2 cup lavender) this was a favorite of all. I must admit, I thought I was gonna have to turn in my man card with the L/V but it was well received.

Would you mind posting your recipes for the vanilla and lavender meads? They sound interesting.

Sure. The first batch I used 1/2 cup lavender buds & 1 fl oz of vanilla.
It was awesome. I am doing another one of those but increasing the Vanilla to 1 1/2 fl oz. Also doing a batch with 1/3 cup lavender and 1 1/2 fl oz of vanilla.
