I've got a mulled spiced cider that's just finished fermentation and I was going to rack it to secondary. What I was wondering is if it is recommend or not to move the cinnamon stick, etc in to the secondary as well to boost flavour further or will it have and adverse effect?

I would taste it first. I added 2 more stocks to my batch for 1 week and then removed them, tasted prefect to me. Just remember that the flavours will dull/mellow with some age.
