Im brewing my first batch of beer and its fermenting and a couple days ago i noticed something dripping from the air seal, Im not sure whether it was condensation or sanitizer, im using c-brite sanitizer, Does anyone know if it will be safe or should i just throw it out?

You have one post and one like...

It's probably condensation. After a few batches you will never notice that. If you are worried about your sanitizer, use vodka or star San.

It was at the bottom of the air lock and drip into the beer, it wasnt all that much

Well do you think if it was sanitization that it would still be safe to drink?

Well i just got a brooklyn brew shop kit and it had the c-brite so i just used it, i never thought about using another alcohol for it and kinda feel stupid for not thinking of it

I had to learn the hard way and I had two cups of starsan sucked into my batch of vanilla bourban porter because I took the blanket of my fermentor ...temp changed and bamn no more starsan. It was painful!
