That would work but you'd need to decarboxylate first or heat it after.
you would
and before I forget Happy 7/10!

Another thing to consider is that a lot of folks don't react well to mixing THC and ethanol; I've heard of people getting nausea, extended hangover, and other problems from that combination. I'm assuming the OP doesn't have that problem - I don't, or least I don't remember anything like that, though it's been a few years and I never did much of either at one time - but it's something to keep in mind if you aren't sure how your body reacts to them together. Mixing entheogens ain't what you'd call an exact science.
OK, I'll bite... how does this cause explosions? The only way to get that is to extract it into oil which is a very dangerous process at home and has cause a few large explosions in the area so I do not condone that.

As a Washington native that really sounds more like a meth production issue.
I didn't even think about that, but I assume you're right.Though it wasn't well explained, I think they had making oil (like for edibles) confused with making concentrates using butane as a solvent which definitely has caused some house explosions.

Now I can't get the image of a couple stoners blowing up their homes trying to make brownies out of my head though.
Yeah, to make concentrated oil you basically force a gas like butane through a column packed with cannabis. If the butane gas ignites that packed column of cannabis basically turns into a pipe bomb.
Starting today there will be a revision in our rules.
We will now be allowing discussion in regards to using Marijuana / Cannabis as a brewing agent on the forum.
What does this mean? You can discuss it in regards to brewing, but any open discussion of the recreational use of Marijuana outside of brewing will be removed. Please do not post pictures of your grow setup, or anything outside of the art of brewing, nor can you discuss the growing, or techniques of growing.
Marijuana is still illegal in some states, so I do ask that those discussing it be limited to the laws of their individual states. As I do not know all of them it will be to you the member to decide your state's legal application of marijuana laws.

I remember reading something somewhere, at some time, about an old-style coffee percolator, weed, and some dry-cleaning fluid that sounded especially hazardous.
Seems like a lot of work to me...
You cannot post pics or info on the following things.
Growing
Selling
Smoking
Trimming
Curing
Paraphernalia
Tinctures
Really anything having to do with marijuana.
What you can do:
Include it as an ingredient in your recipe, and post the directions for use. You cannot say "Add Hops, then smoke a joint" so please don't try it.
I'm really pushing the legal acceptability of it, so I ask you guys respect my outline so we may continue to discuss it.
Once again, the rules:
Please, follow these rules or we will disallow any discussion of it as an ingredient.

Also, thc is not alcohol or water soluble so you will get no effects from it.
