Hi there,

I've acquired a March 809-PL-HS pump from a friend and I'm wondering what fittings I require to connect tubing to each side. I obviously need some sort of female barb fitting, but I'm wondering if there is a specific material I should get.

I'm not a real DIYS home brewer so any assistance is appreciated!

Cheers.

I put one of these on the input and output of my pump:

Not really needed, I guess, if you're careful not to overtighten the metal fittings onto the pump, but I didn't want to take any chances screwing up the threads.

You can use stainless pipe nipples to connect from there to camlocks and valves. Bobby_M sells camlocks and fittings, as does Bargain Fittings.

Bobby_M's site: http://www.brewhardware.com/fittings
Bargain Fittings: http://www.bargainfittings.com/

I've had good experience dealing with both of them.
