I am an IPA Hop Head and am going to make some " Gnome " sodas for a Sober friend of mine. I am going to use their Extracts and Corn sugar. Will carbonate in the keg. Also built him a 2 Tap Keezer for Christmas. I've been told that Malto Dextrine will help with body and taste ( draft root & Autumn red Birch). Any yea's or Nae's on the subject?? Thanx Bill

Yes, to rootbeer but no to ginger ale. I'd probably use it in cream soda, but not in a lemon-lime soda.

Don't use too much! My son used to bottle root beer and he added too much malto-dextrine. He had bottled root beer Jello!

Thanx for the info---RThe question is how much (Oz;s) per 3 gallon Batch
