So I have been looking into some low alcohol brews. I was thinking about trying to do a Belgian table beer. I still might go that way but I also stumbled upon this product. Has an abv of about 2%. Just barley a beer, but that is what I am looking for. But really I think I want something lighter as this seems to be a dark beer.
So Maltextrakt is a Icelandic brew from what I gather. If anyone has any recipes for this or maybe anything like a table beer about this small I would be very happy.

Maybe a Patersbier? Really simple. Monks made it as a table beer. It's about 4%abv. I've made this one with good results:
0.5 lbs CaraPils (steeped for 20min)
6 lbs Pilsen malt extract (60 min)
0.5 oz German Tradition hops(60min) 0.5 oz Saaz hops (60 min)
0.5 oz Saaz hops (10 min)
Wyeast 3787 ferment@64°-78° F.

Thanks DRonco, that does sound pretty simple. I may even scale it back on the extract a little bit. It sounds strange but I want to brew a really small beer that is still a beer.
