Male/Female or what?

Male/Female? Or what? Both are supposed to be Nugget but they are two different colors and the lighter one has heart shaped leaves. Also the lighter one is sending out lots of bines.

They're fine, sometimes the leaves just look like that. I have a centennial that several bines put out heart shaped leaves at the bottom then further up they started appearing like normal.

You won't be able to tell if you get a male, or a hermaphrodite (sometimes females can switch to males under stress) until they flower. But let it grow. Train those bines.

All rhizomes sold are female clones. Only breeds keep male plants around, because if the female flowers are fertilized you get a lot of seeds and less resin in the cones.
