If you boil the sugar and the fruit before you and the water when your making brandy then put it in a fermenter then add the yeast would it turn out different or better? Or not even ferment? I have a different recipe and I wanted to try different ways and different things.

Pretty sure brandy is distilled from the wine you make from the fruit.

This is not the site for discussing the distillation process (since it is not legal in the US). Those of you in Distillation legal regions might want to check out homedistiller.org
