Making a large grain bag

I would like to make a fairly decent sized grain bag, and was wondering what type of fabric I need to buy at the local fabric shop?

Do you know if those paint strainers be ok in a 60 minute boil? (maybe for a hop bag?

I boil with the 1 gallon paint strainers (hops) all the time. They're fine.
