I made a starter anticipating brewing on Sunday, had some complications and by now my yeast has focculated and has made a cake on the bottom, probly won't have time to brew till next week now, how long can this starter last?

You'll be fine using it next week. Throw it in the fridge with some foil on top, then when you're ready, decant the liquid (saving some to swirl) and let it come up to room temperature before you pitch.

yep toss it in the fridge... I like to put a rubber band around the aluminum foil (tight) at this point to limit air movement between the fridge and flask. The starter will attempt to pull in air as it cools.

I intentionally start my Starters at least a week ahead of time so I can decant and pitch.

I had a starter decanting in the fridge for 3 weeks once; they made my best batch up to that point.

This actually sounds like I helped myself, don't have to add a half gallon of unhopped weak wort into my up and comming robust porter (or stout, depends on how it turns out) now
Thanks guys!

For good measure you could decant and add a pint or two of starter wort the day before to get the yeast re-energized before you pitch.
