This is the first homebrew DIY project i've done so I am happy :) It turned out well and saved me a decent amount over buying one, plus it was fun. It is 20' 3/8" and I have a brass 3/4" FGH adapter on it.

I'll be able to put this to good use for my first batch this weekend.

The total was about $40
$25 for the copper tubing
$3 for the 3 hose clamps
$8 for the 3/4" FH x 3/8" barb
$4 for the vinyl tubing

An IC was my first DIY project. I was scared to death that I would kink the copper trying to bend it. But all turned out well and I was never so excited!

Since I have un-bent it and re-purposed it as a CFC, few years later, yet equally as excited to have done and it actually work! Well done, sir and I wish you many successful DIY's to come!

Good job. When I made mine it was a 50' double coil, one inside the other without any connections other than the water in/out. Looking at it now I have no idea how I actually pulled it off without any issues.
Enjoy.
