Been brewing off and on for six years, but really just now decided to start doing it right with temp control and all grain, and also finally getting over my desire to "kitchen sink" every recipe. I've gotten alot of good advice just lurking over the years and its time to <gulp> actually join up and post. By the way, I'm from the New Orleans area, but have been in Orlando since Katrina, and my brew pot (until I upgrade to a larger one) has always doubled as my Gumbo pot.
 
Hello Gumbo, and Welcome! I don't know what size pot you currently have, but most of us eventually do upgrade to something larger at one time or another when moving over to AG. I did the same as you when first starting with brewing years ago, and used the same pot for both crawfish boils and brewing with no issues. Cheers!
