I had a wonderful discovery last night. Lowes small moving boxes are the perfect size to hold 20 wine bottles. And when I say perfect, I mean it's almost as if Lowes made them specifically with wine bottles in mind. They are sandwiched in there, snug as a bug I'd say.
But, they aren't tall enough to take any bottles over 12 inches in height. I have some 13 inch tall bottles that just wouldn't fit. But 99% of my bottles are the 12 inch tall variety, so no problems.
Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone looking for a good storage box for their empties, which is what I use them for now.
