Lowes Food Grade Buckets

Just thought I would share that Lowes has 2 gallon food grade buckets and lids that they stock in the store for really cheap. Found them near the paint aisle at my local store. I paid about $5 for a bucket and lid and the lid also has a gasket in it. As usual, the bucket actually holds a little more than 2 gallons as well. I have a larger fermenting bucket but was looking for something to try and do small batches in so I bought a couple of these:

I buy frosting buckets at the local grocery store. Two, three, and five gallon. Five gallon are a dollar apiece and the smaller ones fifty cents in case you are looking for a source of more food grade buckets. Removable o-ring seal in the five gallon and three gallon. Once cleaned no longer smell like chocolate or vanilla.

Beware, when checking your links, the bucket with the label as you pictured does NOT match the one that came up for me online, it looks very different and had some really bad reviews.
It's very possible there are different qualities/brands/names out there, perhaps depending on the region one lives in. Or bait and switch?

I have one 6.5 gallon brew bucket (not this brand) that has one of those thick gasketed lids with a tear-away strip. It's almost impossible to open without a special tool or risk injuring your hands. I just use it to store water for brew day, and leave the lid on loosely.

Just thought I would give some feedback as I have been using these. They work great, though they are quite thin walled so you have to be careful of the lip when removing the lid (pull it a little at a time all around). Also, it can be a little tricky to get the lid on because of the gasket, but it does provide a great seal (I found I had to squeeze the side on the last part to go on).

Regarding the difference in the pic, yes the one I have does look different than what I also see on the website:

I am guessing that they have a variety of different suppliers for these buckets. The one I showed has a stamp molded into the plastic on the bottom of the vendor that matches the company listed on the sticker they slap on the side - so in my case at least they're not simply getting Chinese buckets from some random vendor and slapping a sticker on the side. Though that is something to watch out for you are right.
