Low-protein barley

I see some breweries use low-protein barley for their light gluten beer. Which barley variety is low-protein? Any homebrew stores sell it? I know that some of these brews made from this barley are not gluten FREE. Not my goal, just trying to reduce it. I hope to use Clarity Ferm with it as well.

This sounds really interesting. Bumping the thread to see if there are other ultra-low gluten barley's out there? More importantly, any available in the US for home brewing?
