Lots of mold.

It seems the individual who was using the corny keg before me never cleaned it so it has a good bit of mold on the top of it and possibly inside of the keg. I've been seeing a lot about pbw and a quick chlorine wash but I'm not sure as to what exactly I should do. I also am wondering if the keg had been hooked up while it had been molding, would there also be mold in the both the input tube as well as the output tube?

Anything would help, thanks!

You are going to have to change out all the O rings and break down the keg and soak everything in PBW. Should do the trick. I would also consider changing the poppets because those have a rubber seal too but that can be expensive so it's up to you...

Dismantle it, soak everything in PBW or Oxy for a day or so, get new O-rings, rinse and reassemble. You should be good to go.

I would replace all of the rubber as indicated above. The only thing I would change is adding a sanitation step to all rubber and hardware prior to reassemble.
