Somehow i forgot about my airlock when i do my inventory check before brewing. After I got the wort into fermenter bucket and capped with water, i realized i lost my airlock. I did not pitched the yeast. Is it gonna hurt the brew to sit overnight until i can go get one in the morning?

Just pitch the yeast and cover the hole with something else (sanitary) like aluminum foil or plastic wrap or something. Don't PLUG the hole, just cover it over so stuff can't fall in there.

First off, toss in your yeast ASAP.

Second, like WeirdBoy said, cover your hole! Actually, more politely said, take a hand cloth or a paper napkin, soak it in your sanitizer solution, and lay it over your "hole".

Most important thing is for your yeast to take charge, and you to provide somewhat of a barrier to infection.. Beyond that you are a spectator.

Chris White of White Labs suggests you don't use an airlock until the krausen falls anyhow. So, do the above even when you have your air lock. :D

I buy an airlock every time I visit the LHBS. They cost $0.69. Like other said just cover it with sanitized cover. But next time you make an order add a couple of airlocks to it.

You could stick a sanitized tube in it and put the end in a sanitized cup of water- for a blow off tube.

hey thanks a bunch for the tips guys. I truly appreciate it. Ive got my hole covered for now... until i get another airlock. Thanks again.
