Ok, so made my first batch of beer ever last month. After fermentation transferred to a keg and force carbonated with CO2... everything goes great, end up with awesome tasting beer! YAY!
BUT!!!! with the last bit left in the keg I bottled 5 bottles using a counter pressure filler. capped on the foam and put the bottles in the fridge, everything looked fine. about a week later i opened one of the bottles and poured it into a glass... the beer LOOKED amazing!!! All remaining sediment had dropped out, but apparently so did almost all of the flavor... I ended up with 5 bottles of very pretty slightly beer flavored water! any thoughts on what could have happened????
