My first batch is an extract ipa brewed exclusively with citra. It spent 3 weeks fermenting, and currently has one week in the bottle. I know that's not nearly enough time, but as an excited greenhorn, I wanted to see progress.
During bottle day, the aroma was incredible. Just in your face citrus/floral aroma. Now one week in the bottle, the aroma is non-existent. It's starting to carbonate slightly, and it's been 65-70 degrees the whole time. Will the aroma come back after more time? Thought this was odd.

Over time you will lose hop aroma. Dont worry soo much after it carbonates the bubbles will help carry the aroma to your nose. It might not be as intense but it will be there. If you want more hop aroma when you do your next batch add an extra ounce to your dry hopping schedule.
