I am on the verge of switching for malts to all grain. I am also looking for information on how to use a temperature control ed software to control the brewing temperature. Any ideas?

I use a Johnson control on an old fridge. It ain't special but it works for me. Find what works well for you and run with it.

You could also go partial mash as an intermediate step. I use up to 6lbs+ of grains with 3lbs of plain DME or 3.3lbs of plain LME @ flame out for my beers. BIAB makes it cheap, easy & fast to get into! :mug: I also 2nd the Johnson controller. This is one instance where a big johnson isn't needed to get the job done well! :D

I signed up to the Kickstarter for the Brew Jacket. It should ship any time. It is a heat pump that fits inside a Better Bottle or bucket. It takes up the space of a carboy or bucket, unlike a refrigerator. I will review it once I get it up and running. It is supposed to reach lager temps. It comes with a wrap/jacket to help maintain the temps. I will use it mostly to keep my temps in the mid 60s.....A little lower for Kolsch and Cal Commons.
