Looking to make. Fruit ale...

F i would like to make a raspberry brown ale, or a cherry wheat ale.... When do I add the fruit mash?

When I made a strawberry beer, I added after a week of fermentation and left in there for two weeks

Thanks, how did it turn out.... Did you use whole fruit, mashed fruit or juice?

Don't add it too soon if you like your ceiling. Best (worst?) blow off I've ever had, bar none, was a cherry ale. A lot of people that don't recommend secondary will suggest that adding fruit IS a good time to use a secondary.
