Anyone know if Home Depot will have something to use to attatche my tap handle? I believe it's a 3/8 female unc thread I need that would be put into the bottom of my tap handle I made to attatch to the faucet? Something like the picture? ImageUploadedByHome Brew1400775405.749975.jpg

the T-nuts have worked better for me.. i've tried those other threaded ones before, and they always ended up slipping overtime so i could no longer tighten them correctly.. if you're using wood hammering in the T-nut would keep a nice seal for you

I just drilled and tapped the hardwood handles that I made. The wood is very hard and dense though. What wood are you using?

I just started a new thread on my easy tap handles, where I use them.

Here are the inserts by the way. You can get them at Amazon, McMaster or most hardware stores. I got mine at Lowe's. You just need to drill a 1/2" pilot hole and they thread right in.
