hey i been brewing for the past one year doing extract... have done hefeweizen, belgian triple, dry-hopped ipa (twice), hopweizen, and pumpkin ale.
now i am looking for a "house" beer thats light in alcohol but has the hops - aroma and all... i love IPA!!!!!
i was given this recipe... this guy call it grapefruit pale ale. he says its like 3.5 percent alcohol... should make for a great candidate to be a house beer!!! in addition to that i love grapefruit.
10 oz crytstal 10l
4 0z cara-pils
150-160 steep grain 30 minutes
3 lbs pils light
1 lbs amber
1 oz cluster
1 oz fuggles
1 0z goldings, kent
pitch american ale yeast
primary - 1 week
secondary - add 1 oz cluster
what do u think of this? will this work out to the way i want it? as am looking for a "light" dry-hopped IPA!!!! i plan on brewing a batch real soon!
