I'm looking for anyone who has made such a thing personally and what were your thoughts?
I'm prepping to make a 5 gallon batch and tinkering around with the idea that it would made as a still mead. I do like my bourbon barrel stouts and do love my High ABV meads.
Just looking for some insights or links to recipes people have used and feedback from their venture.
I will be aging the batch for a year.
