Looking for a receipt for a summer ale

I want to make a beer for a canoe trip this summer. I was thinking like a summer ale. Does any one have a receipt that they like for a summer ale?

Right now I have Northern Brewer's Patersbier in a keg, and it is a really summery kind of beer. I may have to make this one again when it gets really warm out.

Also hefeweizens are really good in the summer. I'm planning on doing this one in the next couple months in time for summer.
