Looking for a home brew store

Not sure if I am in the right spot or not but this was the closest I could find. I will be moving shortly to Yuma AZ and I was looking online for a home brew shop in that area And came up with nothing I was wondering if anyone on these forums was from the Yuma area or could just point me towards what I'm looking for.

MoreBeer has a store in California (as well as PA), and may get you your supplies fast enough. They seem to have similar pricing, but free shipping on large orders if you're willing to wait a little.

Well if that what I have to do then that's what I have to do. I'm just more of a hands on guy that like to actually go into a store. But thank you for the resource.

I used to use my local place until they burned me when I decided I wanted it shipped instead. Now I just use them for grains since they'll sell just what I need, which is the downside to MoreBeer.

And it's nice to have a place to go just in case…

I'd suggest you stock up on DME, hops, dry yeast, caps, and hop sacks just in case, as well as have an extra hydrometer and thermometer if you don't already.

Yuma looks rather small. Maybe southern CA might have a place close enough. Otherwise I saw one two stores in AZ that will be east of you called Brewer's Connection. Located in Tempe and Tucson.

What brought you to Yuma? I'm up in Phx now, but I basically grew up there. Seems no one ever really MEANS to move to Yuma.

As for brew stores, I hadn't even thought of that any of the times I've visited down there. Might be an idea for a small business to open up!?!? I know I'd visit it whenever I came through!
