Hey guys, looking to brew this later today... I'm in need of a 5 gallon, extract cream ale that I'm looking to add some spices to to make a X-mas ale. I've got a clone book that I use when im looking for a base for a recipe to make some additions and changes to but I wanted to see if anyone had any tried and true recipes that they have done!

Cheers!

My dad brewed Northern Brewer's extract cream ale and it was a big hit at my wedding. I can't say I'd want spices in it, but if you're looking for a nice cream ale recipe to work with I can recommend it. Cream Ale Extract Kit -- Kit Inventory Sheet

I just noticed that the extract uses pilsner malt syrup! THAT'S why my AG version tastes different! It uses american 2-row! Sonsa'bishes!

Here's my AG Cream Ale House Recipe.

When I tried to convert it to extract, all it said was to use Light Liquid Extract to get you up to the desired gravity level and boil. No steeping grains.

It was good, but to make it better, I would sub the black patent to 4 oz. of Chocolate Malt.
