Hi all,

Stumbled upon this today after searching, for all things, a sweet potato beer recipe, so go figure.
I got a Williams kit for Xmas last year and have made 3 batches so far. Still working on getting more stuff (and a place to put it all, but we can figure that all out later). Looking forward to learning more as I go.

At least I can drink my mistakes!

I just wanted to brag a bit...I got to meet Charlie Papazian at the National Conference last week.

We (The Glass City Mashers) poured at Club Night from our "Real Ale Tree". Charlie stopped by and dubbed it the "gravitree". That's why he is the Prez!

I saw Charlie, but didn't get to meet him. He was busy chatting with others and then I lost him and one thing led to another...

Met just about everyone else though.

Good luck with the sweet potato beer recipe! Sounds nasty, but you never know when it's all done and carbed up.
