Hello all. I made a clone of Dogfish Head's 60 min IPA. It called for an English ale yeast but all the LHBS had was London Ale yeast. Because I need this beer in a month I didn't have time to internet order the yeast so I took the London. Was this a mistake?

Thanks.
EB

By 'English' are you referring to White Labs 002 English Ale yeast? And instead, did you go with Wyeast's London?

If so, you shouldn't notice a huge difference in flavor, but the two strains are a little different. London has higher attenuation, but lower flocculation whereas the English has a little lower attenuation to leave some residual sweetness, but much higher flocculation.
