Not sure how this is gonna work. How is this bringing in fresh O2?
With the airlock.. its "locking" out oxygen, correct.. or am I missing something here. I use loose foil only. any comments?

For a starter you want oxygen in the wort. You cover it loosely to prevent bacteria from getting in, but you want to allow it to continue to absorb oxygen. Never use an airlock on a starter.

here is my final product.. cost was nothing but time. I had all the parts collecting dust around the basement.
