I went to my first local homebrew meeting last night and had a great time.. we met at Palmetto Brewing Co in Charleston SC, and Ed is a great guy and was more than happy to show us around and let us hang out.. he even gave us all a big bag of hops that he was trying out !! (Falcon flight pellets @ 10.5)
So the brewery and bottling machines were awesome to snoop around, their beer was great, and there were around 30 homebrewers in attendance !
Some of the homebrews were great, some were good, and some were not so good - but it was really fun meeting all of the different guys/gals.. some wanted to ask everyone's detailed opinions, and some didn't care at all ...
it was a great time, so if you have a homebrew club nearby JOIN IT !! if not, START ONE !!
