Hello everyone... I've been reading the forums here for awhile and finally got around to make my own account...

I do have a generally question to start off with though.... I'm setting up my kegerator (finally) and getting some corny kegs soon... Since I haven't had much time to have my own batch ready for filling the kegs up... Does anyone know of any local brewery that will fill up a corny keg for me around the Raleigh NC area?

:mug:

I've never heard of any of them doing this. Then again... I don't know if anyone has ever asked.

I would ask the guy at Aviator (Fuquay-Varina). He's probably the most likely to do it for you.

ha im in the same situation, just got my keg system. im brewing like crazy to get a pipeline..

you might want to give Roth Brewing a call, i think they might be willing to work something out.. fine bunch of fellows there..

I thought I heard once upon a time that Carolina Brewery in Chapel Hill would do it, but I could be wrong. I actually saw a guy bring a corny in there though once when I was there. All the brewers I've met around here are pretty cool. My advice is to call the breweries and talk to the brewer and ask him. He's the one that can give you the best answer, it is his beer after all. Let us know what you find out.

I'm in Raleigh as well and i'm wondering the same thing. What did you end up finding out? Did carolina brew end up filling your keg?

i know Roth Brewing Co will do it. me and a couple of other HBTers were in there a week or two and asked them about it. they said that if we came in on "kegging day", they would fill a cornie for us.
