Get some honey and make mead. Add some apple juice to that its called a Cyser. Or you could just ferment some apple juice and make cider.
Getting some decent yeast could be a problem, but some people use bread yeast to make mead.
Add extract and hops to the above and you have Graff.
You probably can't get the extract and hops, so you'll have to settle for a mead.
If you make a beer strength "craft mead" it can be ready to drink in 7-8 weeks, a full strength mead takes a year or more of aging.
There are numerous podcasts, you tube videos and blogs about making mead.

So risk your freedom and possibly your life to brew beer...

It’s better than don’t do anything and sit down like Pu***

Ive been to that area of the world, ME and N. Africa, from countries with extreme penalties for alcohol consumption to tolerance with strict penalties (like Bahrain).

Can you get your hands on barley at all? Sorghum? Yeast? Hops will be hard to source, but maybe South Africa is your best bet?

Here is another thread with some info:

You may be risking your life, it's true, but it's a life without booze so I say go for it!

I'd stick to cider, honey, etc. that you can attempt to explain if you get caught with. Get caught with a can of extract or hops, and you'll have a hard time explaining yourself and your purpose besides beer making.

In respect of the fact that where you live sounds like a prison, I'd take a look at prison hooch recipes that are designed for easy concealment. By any chance do you live in North Korea or work in the west wing? Either would seem to give plenty of reasons to need a drink bad enough to risk your neck.
