Tasting Notes
Nice balance between hops and malt.
I was inspired by Heavy Seas Pale Ale, which uses a good portion of English ingredients. The Marris Otter and the Victory give it a little biscuity flavor, and the English hops give a nice supplement to the typical American Ale Cascade flavor.

Wyeast 1272 - American Ale II

Mashed at 151 for 60m, batch sparged.

I forgot to add the Whirlfloc and tried to gelatin fine it, but it's still a little cloudy. Also, the bucket was in the basement laundry room, which has AC, but we had 2-3 days of close to 100F heat so the fermentation might have gotten a little hot - but no off-flavors are detected.

Turned out real nice. I'm having a hard time trying to keep some of this around for a little while.
