Liquorice Flavor help

So...I've started recently betting and I love it. One thing I have always wanted but haven't found was a liquorice flavored beer where the liquorice is very prevalent. I have a brewers best red ale kit to start. What and how much would all of you recommend to accomplish this for a 5 gallon batch. Still new to brewing. Thanks

Star annis, Brewers licorice, or licorice root. Not sure I'd add it to a red ale.

i just put star anise in a bourbon stout. Comes across in the smell.
