The burner I have has a small diameter, and when I have my blichmann 15 gallon pot on it, it seems to trap too much heat under it. I think if there was a little area for the heat to escape it word be better. Im looking at trying to add something to the top of the burner frame so that the pot doesnt sit directly on the frame. I was thinking about a few pieces of 3/4 in c square bar from home depot. The pot would sit on that about 1/2 to 3/4 over the top of the frame.

I was hoping to not have to weld anything. I will be building a brew stand soon, but wanted more of a stop gap measure.

Ill do that search, maybe Ill get some other ideas.

I opened the back end of the burners up by lowering the 1.5" tubing down in the rear. The wind shield/burner mount also opens up to allow excess heat out of the rear.
