I'm sitting by a roaring fire at our cottage, after an evening of bow hunting. No deer seen, but a big bowl of chicken/grouse chili (from a grouse I shot yesterday), this Netbook, a great selection of music, homebrew, and Bob, all worked together to put me in a semi-comatose mellowness.

How do you unwind and relax?

Happiness is having a sneaking suspicion all evening that there is something you were planning to watch on tv that night, and have it click at 8:20pm that your team is playing on Monday Night Football.

Go Jets.

I have two little boys, ages 3 & 1, I'm not sure I understand the meaning of unwind or relax. Although it's league night at the bowling alley tonight, not very relaxing but it sure gets your mind off of life for awhile.

My new Lazy-boy, a big glass of fresh Hefe, a book on the side table with the remote, PS3 controller, iphone and a snack. I'm not planning on moving for a few hours...except when i need a refill:)

Took (another) awesome fall mountain bike ride with my dogs after work today. Stashed 2 of my Centennial IPAs in the truck for afterwards. Two hours of ripping the singletrack and two beers to thank myself. It doesn't get much better than that!

Today I am going home after a horrible day at work. Taking my shoes off Pouring a beer, putting some music on smelling the ingredients as I cut them. Cooking it! and enjoying a smoke.

True happiness is traveling for me though. Getting up in the morning while your somewhere foreign, and realizing you have nothing to do but what you want.

Music on the patio speakers, baseball on the tube, steak on the weber, and a nice stock of good brew.

It changes for me all the time. Last night was cleaning kitchen as I oxicleaned a Stainless Fire Extinguisher to use as a fermenter, and also a 5G BB for racking my first wine, while helping my daughter build a Mouse Trap car for physics (that would have been much easier had she told me like on Friday, since it's due today), and drinking a Two Hearted (so good!) and cranking some Metallica. "Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire, uh!"

Sometimes it's having a snack and a beer and watching the Wings, playing, WoW with friends on Teamspeak, building brewing stuff, etc.

My job is so good that I rarely feel stressed about it though. My wife gets all the work stress. I'm going to die a guilty man.
