Speaking of De Struise...
In my opinion, the black damnation series is what made them skyrocket up my list of breweries id purchase on a regular basis. The old online “yeast shop” orders would get delivered to my door at a fraction of the price for the same bottles sitting on shelves.
I wonder what ever happened between Struise and De Molen? They collaborated (or just blended?) their famed imperial stouts together, called it black damnation and then Struise said FU, this is my series now, we dont need De Molen and henceforth just made the rest with variations of just black albert?
I think the OG black damantion was whaley and maybe even double black to a certain extent but that has been released like 3 times now whereas that first blend of black albert and Hel & Verdo was a one and done in 2010.
