I have

11 pounds weyermann light wheat
12 pounds pilsner
2 pounds 2 row briefs
1 pound crystal15L
2 pounds carafe 3

I usually do 11 gallon batches, I would like anybodys suggestions on a decent reciepe I could use any combination of brew to cook up sometime. Only capable of ales right now. Got plenty of cascade, hauler tau and tettanger, any suggestions if anyone has any ideas. Thanks

Well I am guessing the 2 row briefs should read "Briess". W/ 12lbs of the pilsner, 2lbs of the 2row, and about half the wheat, say 6 lbs you have the base to an American wheat beer, hop with the haulertau to taste. Or also add the crystal and cascade hops for more of an American pale ale? Only caution I have is that I would not exceed 35-40% wheat in the grain bill. Sorry, just shooting in the dark here.

About every other year I have enough stuff left over from kits, door prizes, left overs, etc. I just put it all together and brew it, I don't even shoot for a style. Some turned out real good, some kinda like water filtered through dirt and leaves. But hey, I've never been a "rule follower" anyway.

Cascadian dark imperial american wheat, combine all the grains minus 1.5 of the carafa and hop the hell out of it. You should hit approximately 1.060 assuming 70% efficiency.

I do the same thing and call it an HPA (hodge podge ale). It never ceases to amaze me how decent a beer you can get from throwing leftover random grains together and seeing what becomes of it.

50% wheat, 50% pils and 2oz of tettnanger for a nice hefeweizen, save the rest of the malts for future brews
