I think I'll stay in my PhD program for now! But man, if I had started brewing at a younger age then a program like this would certainly be tempting! A man can dream!

I think UC Davis has a pretty top notch masters program in brewing too.

That one linked to Canada says you have to have had high school biology or chemistry to qualify. That leaves a lot of folks out that might otherwise be quite qualified.

Yeah, I actually didn't leave uni for this course. I left because the cost did not outweigh the benefit. When this course opened I had to actually go back and take highschool bio just to get accepted. Even though I had previously been to University and have been making beer for a while.

Yeah, I don't think that requiring Biology or Chemistry is an outlandish requirement. I wouldn't have graduated HS without more than one science class. I'm pretty sure that there's some sort of GED type of class or college level science class that you could take before joining anyway. Where there's a will, there's a way.

We had biology, life science,& chemistry in 8th & 9th grade in my day. That was the early 70's,& nam was still going. I missed the draft by 3 digits!
