Hi,

I made a small batch of blackberry wine late last Summer and between work and a new baby... Well, out of sight out of mind.

Is the wine ruined, or what can I expect? I didn't rack it after the initial transfer to a glass jug and empty wine bottles. Any advice on how to proceed? I didn't open it up to smell or taste so no clue there. I imagine done folks will respond with that guidance.

I'm looking for people that have done this before and know what to do next. Should I rack it and get it off the settled yeast? I imagine most of the sediment gas dropped out. I can see about 3/4 inch at the bottom of the glass gallon jug.

Thanks!
