Hi all....My 1st lager is in its D-rest as I type....my question ( as silly as it may sound) is this: After the d-rest I'm going to rack and lager...when lagering is complete do I rack again and carb it up or do I not rack off the secondary and just carb the secondary.
I'm wondering if I should rack to another carboy or straight to the corny. If it's normal to rack off the secondary(lager) then I'd lager in carboy, if it's not necessary then I'd go right into the corny. Thanks

I will typically rack from primary directly into my keg after I perform the d-rest. Any minimal sediment passes in the first pour.

EDIT: Then lager right in the keg.

For my lagers I personally like to lager in one keg and then two Weeks out from serving, use a jumper and force it to my serving keg. Its pretty easy to do but definitely not necessary.
