I have what seems like a lot of booze in carboys right now... I have been making a Pilsner Urquell clone, and often take advantage of the winter weather for the lagering. However it's been a warmish winter hereabouts, and the spring is heating up. It hit 17 C here today https://cdn.homebrewtalk.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

I also have some wine that needs to be cold stabilized. No fridge room and the cost of buying ice for all this is staggering. what to do, what to do???

Wait! Hockey arena = Zamboni = big piles of free ice!!!

Back up the truck and shovel to my heart's content. Put the carboys and demi-jons into RubberMaid bins and fill with ice. Wrapped bins with towels and tarps. Instant refrigerator. https://cdn.homebrewtalk.com/images/smilies/rainfro.gif
