Hey crew,

Looking to do a lager for the warmer months and I want something like Voss Kviek in a lager strain. Anyone know of a Lager strain that produces from citrus-y notes?

Not certain about citrus like notes from yeast, but I know who does...

I would browse lager yeasts at https://whitelabs.com. They have all kinds of info about each strain. I would bet you can find one there.

Be careful of "seasonal" yeasts, your brewstore won't have them...so call before you try to buy.

2024 high temp lager stain that does well at low temps as well. its pretty crisp, i am doing an open fermenting experiment with it right now. even at warmer temps and being open fermented it still smells very clean.

if you want citrusy notes i know Dry hop from imperial is great but its not a lager.
