I'm going to make a sour mash berliner weisse type beer, and I have been thinking about doing it using a lager yeast. I have some pilsner lager yeast kicking about and was thinking about trying a lager berliner weisse. A google search turned up nothing substantial.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone tried it?

Thanks

Search youtube for the video "Perspective on brewing Berliner Weisse" and a guy from Wyeast covers this. The answer is: Wyeast 2124 if you want a lager yeast or 1007 for an ale yeast.
